West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says he is open to a possible move for Chelsea captain defender John Terry in the upcoming transfer window.
For many, it is hard to see Terry moving to another Premier League club, but Bilic says he is open to a potential transfer.
“We are going to see,” Bilic told a press conference.
“I’m a big admirer of John, he is one of the best that ever played, not only in that position but in general.
“He won everything, he did everything and we are talking about an England captain, a true leader.
“We are pretty well covered in that position, we have quality and we have experience, but we will see. You never say never.”
Terry shocked the football world when he announced he would leave Stamford Bridge, in order to pursue a new challenge in his footballing career, but that challenge is still yet to be confirmed. His sole focus now is to help the Blues in their quest for Premier league glory in any way shape or form.
Terry has made 713 Chelsea appearances and is the all-time leading goal scorer for a defender with 40 goals.
West Ham this weekend face Everton at home.
