Barcelona superstar Neymar has backed fellow countryman Gabriel Jesus to join the likes of Antoine Griezmann as the next superstars in the world game.
Before succumbing to a foot injury in February, Jesus made a blistering start to his Manchester City career with three goals and two assists in his four appearances.
During that period, Sergio Aguero was demoted to the bench while he has also led the line for the Brazilian national team on a number of occasions.
And Neymar says he has a soft spot for the youngster.
“Of the new generation, I like (Antoine) Griezmann very much, but I have a great affection for Gabriel Jesus,” he told Esporte Interativo when asked who was most likely to be the ‘next Neymar’.
“I love him for how he plays and because we play together in the Selecao and we did at the Rio Olympic Games.
“He has entered the main Selecao very well, he is a boy with a lot of potential.”
While the 25-year-old suggested Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has the ability to become one of the world’s best.
“I will also say Dybala, the famous Argentinian left-footer. If you leave him alone, he can hurt you. On Wednesday, we (Barcelona) will not be able to leave him any space,” he added.
