Queens Park Rangers and Socceroos midfielder Massimo Luongo has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Rs.
The new deal will keep Luongo at Loftus Road until the end of the 2020 season.
Luongo believes he has made the right call to remain in west London.
“It was a big decision for me, but the right decision,” Luongo told QPR’s official website.
“The next few years will be really important in my career, and hopefully I can build on the progress I feel I’ve already made with QPR.
“I’m really enjoying my football here and the fans seem to have taken to me as one of their own, so I couldn’t be more delighted.”
The 24-year-old joined QPR from Swindon Town after a hugely successful Asian Cup with Australia in 2015, a tournament they famously won.
He made the move in May of that year.
Luongo has made 59 appearances for QPR and has regularly drawn the interest of Chinese clubs.
In January, Luongo revealed to beIN Sports he receives at least one offer from a Chinese team per month.
