FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has labelled Neymar a “beast” after scoring his 100th goal for the Catalans.
Barca thrashed Granada 4-1 on Sunday and Neymar capped off their performance with a 91st-minute strike.
It happened to be the Brazilian’s 100th for the Blaugrana.
Enrique joked that he is still hopeful 25-year-old Neymar will score as many as 900 goals in his time in Barcelona.
“That number (100 goals) is only available to a beast,” Enrique said.
“He’s one of the most dangerous players in the world and it was a great decision to sign him.
“I think he got it right coming to Barca, and obviously the club did too.
“I hope he scores another 900 goals and we keep watching him in Barcelona for many years more.”
Luis Suarez, Paco Alacer and Ivan Rakitic also hit the scoreboard for Barca, who maintained the pressure on Real Madrid.
They are just two points behind Los Blancos, but the Spanish capital club still have one game in hand.
