Harry Kane raced to the front of the Premier League Golden Boot race with one matchday remaining as Tottenham Hotspur hit Leicester City for six.
Kane scored four times in Spurs’ 6-1 win at the King Power Stadium on Thursday night, while strike partner Son Hueng-min notched a brace himself.
Foxes full-back Ben Chilwell found the back of the net for the hosts in the 59th minute, giving them some hope of resurrecting what was at the time, a 2-1 deficit.
But Tottenham ran away with the game from there, blasting home another four goals to bridge the gap between themselves and already crowned champions Chelsea to seven points.
Kane now sits as the outright leader in the goalscorer’s column with 26 strikes, two ahead of Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and three in front of Arsenal hit man Alexis Sanchez.
Spurs will close out the season with another away game, this time against relegated Hull City.
