The Slovenian goalkeeper has won plenty of admirers after his heroics which helped Atletico Madrid reach the Champions League quarter-final after dispatching of Bayer Leverkusen.
French forward Antoine Griezmann is one of his many admirers who stated that Oblak is the best shot-stopper in world football.
“It’s why we say he’s the best goalkeeper in the world,” Greizmann said.
“He proves it in every game and he did so again.”
The 24-year-old made an astonishing triple-save to deny Kevin Volland and Julian Brandt in the second half of Atletico’s 0-0 second leg draw to help maintain their aggregate lead.
Oblak has kept 13 clean sheets this season and has 14 in the Champions League since his debut, a feat that only Gianluigi Buffon has been able to meet.
Atletico were able to qualify for the quarter-finals thanks to their 4-2 victory in the first leg in Germany.
Their opponent will be determined on Friday, 17 March at 11:00 GMT.
Among the teams in the last eight are Atletico, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Leicester City and Juventus.
