Aaron Mooy and his Huddersfield Town side claimed a crucial West Yorkshire Derby victory against geographical and promotion rivals Leeds United at John Smith’s Stadium.

Early substitute Isaiah Brown had an immediate impact in the 27th minute, scoring barely seconds after his introduction. A controversial Chris Wood goal put Leeds back on level terms, but Michael Hefele’s goal ensured the Terriers would take full points.

Both managers, Garry Monk and David Wagner, clashed in the dugouts and were both sent to the stands.

Mooy’s individual performance received plenty of praise on Twitter.

Tomi Juric saw minutes for FC Luzern in their thrilling 4-4 draw against Lausanne, emerging from the bench.

Tom Rogic was absent from Celtic’s squad in their 5-2 win over St Johnstone, still recovering from injury.

Trent Sainsbury will have to wait one more week at least for his Inter debut, not yet selected in the Nerazzurri matchday squad. They were beaten 1-0 by Juventus in the Derby d’Italia.

Craig Goodwin was an unused substitute in Sparta Rotterdam’s 3-2 defeat against PEC Zwolle, as was Kenny Dougall.

Danny De Silva was again nowhere to be seen for Roda JC.
