Could Brisbane Roar’s Tommy Oar be headed to Cyprus?

Brisbane Roar attacker could be on his way to Cyprus, according to a report in Cypriot media.

Philenews reports local giants APOEL have struck an agreement with Brisbane for the player’s signing, triggering a €350,000 release clause.

Their report suggests all that is left to work out in a deal are personal terms.

Roughly translated, it reads: “After several (and concerted) actions, the decision-makers of APOEL set up that package of proposals to the Brisbane club which was finally accepted, so the only thing left is to find the golden incision with Oar, which is a matter of time to be achieved.”

APOEL are the reigning Cypriot champions and are due to compete in the second round of Champions League qualifying.
